Although caring for young children can be exhausting, there are moments that touch my heart and I hope to remember for a lifetime. Yesterday, Olivia and I picked Addie up from her classroom. Adelyn's class had just finished a party and cookies were being handed out. Because of Adelyn's allergies, the teacher offers a substitute treat. Adelyn went to the teachers desk to see what her treat was ad the teacher gave her two options, a sucker or two mints. Adelyn took a second to think, but then decided on the mints. She walked back to Olivia and promptly gave her one. It touched my heart to see Adelyn be so thoughtful of her sister.
The girls care for each other deeply and miss each other like crazy when separated. Olivia will complain almost everyday while Addie is in school about how much she misses her. The girls will often bicker over who's turn it is for the "ducky spoon", or who gets a certain stool to sit on, but sometimes one or the other will politely share with the other. I love these moments.
I love these girls and hope that they continue to love each other forever.

Growth Spurt?
I wonder if Olivia is going through a growth spurt. During the last couple of days, everything seems to make her hungry...
"Mom! Dance makes me hungry!"
"Morgan's {house} makes me hungry!"
"Shopping makes me hungry."
And after eating a granola bar...
"Granola bars make me hungry!"
Cracks me up. She seems a bit taller too.

Dance
Adelyn and Olivia got dance lessons from Grandma and Grandpa Moss for Christmas. They love to dance! Adelyn has started a ballet class and Olivia has started tumbling. Everyday they ask when they get to go to dance. It has been really fun for them.

Christmas Activities
Sadly, I did not get a lot of pictures of our Christmastime activities. This December we went to This is the Place Park with the extended Moss family. It is a fun tradition. In one building they teach you to do some dancing. Adelyn and Scott had a great time.
The girls also got invited to a friends house to make gingerbread houses. They had a blast.
Christmas Eve we spent time with family at Christine and Michael's home. Christmas day was spent with the extended Moss family. So much fun! On Christmas morning Adelyn peeked downstairs at the tree, and seeing presents, she came running into our room stating, "Mom! Dad! I think we were on the nice list!" So cute.
We had a wonderful Christmas Season.

Snow Days
The girls absolutely love it when it snows. They stay outside as long as possible, until their fingers and toes are cold and they want some hot chocolate. Good thing we live in Utah where there is a lot of snow!
