Cousin Time

Last weekend we were able to visit Jessi and cousin McKenzie. We had a lot of fun. We really didnt get a whole lot of pictures, but I wanted to post a few (for the grandparents sake) that show them together. We are excited for more cousins to come!
(McKenzie wanted to give Addie a kiss on the leg)

Tagged!

I think I was tagged... (thanks Nat!)... so here we go:

1. Where is your cell phone? Um... I am not really sure, I think Adelyn had it and is probably on the floor somewhere.
2. Your significant other? Scott
3. Your hair? Short, but growing out...
4. Your mother? Busy, probably teaching seminary, or doing service for someone.
5. Your father? Also very busy, probably at work.
6. Your favorite thing? Hanging out with Scott and Adelyn.
7. Your dream last night? Well, my dream from last night stems from a long story about ward volleyball, but my dream was that every time I went to hit the ball the lights would shine in my face and I would miss by a few inches. It was frustrating and embarrassing since no one else was affected by the lights (and my team is fairly competitive).
8. Favorite drink? Lemonade
9. Your dream/goal? To pick up a hobby and be good at it.
10. The room your in? The family room.
11. Your hobby? My hobbies vary (reading, hanging out with friends, organizing, volleyball, etc). This week my main goal is food storage (going through what we inherited, finding places for storage, filling water bottles, and canning salsa and peaches). My grandma did give me a sewing machine and I hope to be able to make something with it soon.
12. Your fear? Loosing someone I love, and getting called to serve in primary or nursery (just kidding).
13. Where do you want to be in 6 years? Hmmm... well, I hope Scott will be done with grad school and we will move in to an older neighborhood with a mature house and yard that we can update.
14. What you're not? I am not very good at keeping my blog updated :).
15. Muffins? Occasionally. But I will eat cereal anytime.
16. One of your wish list items? Wheat grinder, and a piano.
17. Where you grew up? In Washington State.
18. The last thing you did? Put Addie down for a nap and cleaned the kitchen.
19. What are you wearing? T-shirt and capris. I managed to get dressed before 9:30 am this morning! Wahoo!
20. Favorite gadget? Computer.
21. Your pets? None alive. We have plenty of stuffed ones though.
22. Your computer? We have two, one desktop that is extremely slow, and a laptop.
23. Your mood? Trying to relax, but I can hear Addie in the background, not sleeping.
24. Missing someone? Scott, who left for work and wont be home till after class (long days)... I am also really missing my sister on her mission right now.
25. Your car? Honda Accord. Well, actually it is Scotts car (black leather is not my thing, especially in the Utah summer heat).
26. Something you are not wearing? Socks or shoes (I love being barefoot in the summer time, although my feet get really dirty).
27. Favorite store? Costco, I think. But I hate how much I spend :)
28. Love someone? Of course Scott and Addie.
29. Your favorite color? I have really been liking green lately (although it does change for me).
30. When is the last time you laughed? This morning, playing with Addie.
31. Last time you cried? Um, not really sure, but it probably wasn't that long ago, crying relieves stress for me.

There you go... and now I tag.... Lindsay!

Gateway

The other day I took Addie down to the Gateway. For those who don't know, the Gateway is an outside mall, but it has a water fountain area that kids can play in. The water was cold, but Addie couldn't resist. She loved getting sprayed and watching all the other kids play. People around kept laughing at her, and she would just smile and wave. Pretty social kid.

Timpanogos Cave

We were lucky enough to have my parents visit for a weekend. We decided to hike up to the Timpanogos Cave. You would think that living in Utah I would have visited some of these tourist attractions, but this was a first for me. It was hot, but we had fun. I took some pictures, although it was difficult to get good pictures inside a cave.
While waiting for our turn (this is a very popular hike) we had a picnic at the river. This picture is of Scott teaching Addie how to throw rocks into the water.
The hike up:
Inside the cave. The second picture they call the "heart" of the cave. It kinda looks like a heart.
We had tons of fun with grandma and grandpa. Thanks for visiting! Come again soon!
