Fire on the mountain
The mountain caught on fire behind our house. It was a scary experience. The roads were closed and we had a hard time getting to and from our house. Many were evacuated. We were worried for friends who lived closer to the mountain. Luckily no one lost their home and the fire was controlled within a day.

Lagoon
While Scott was on a business trip, we went to his Lagoon work party without him. I brought Kayla along for extra help, and it is good she came to ride the big rides with Adelyn. We all had fun.

Scott had to head to Italy for a work trip. He stayed in Sicily and was able to do a little touring and snorkeling.

Ward Camp out

First Day of School
The kids are ready to start school again. Adelyn is starting Junior High (7th grade), Olivia in 4th grade, and Pearce in Kindergarten. We have decided to go back to our neighborhood school (Sam Morgan Elementary) and Pearce is in the French program. The kids are excited to be in school with the neighborhood kids.
