Valentines

My cute valentines (with their chocolate from dad)! I also went to my moms and she made an amazing lunch for us girls. Such a fun day!

Quick Getaway

Scott and I won a gift card to the Grand America years ago. We finally decided that we better use it! We stayed one night in a nice suite, ate at the hotel restaurant, and even had room service. The food was delicious, and it was fun living like the rich for a day! The last time we went to the Grand America was on our honeymoon, over 15 years ago.

Grand America

About 4.5 years ago we won a gift card to the Grand America (included the room and $100 to spend at the hotel). We've never been able to get away until now. It was fun and nostalgic since we spent our honeymoon night there 15 years ago. We ate at the hotel restaurant, went to a laser show at the Planetarium, had room service, and enjoyed our time together. The food was delicious (and pretty!). It was fun to live like we are wealthy for a few minutes. :)

Birthday Hike

For my birthday, my mom and I took a hike up to Frary Peak on Antelope Island. It is a 4 mile hike up (8 miles total). It was a beautiful hike (and a beautiful day for February). We had a great time! I love spending time with my mom. She also brought me a donut for when we made it to the top. Yum!
