Adelyn (while in the car): "Red means stop, green means go"
Aunt Alyssa: "What does yellow mean?"
Adelyn: "Slow down or get out of the way!"
Adelyn: "Mom, somebody loves you"
Sarah: "Really? Who?"
Adelyn: "Me!"
Like most young girls, Adelyn is
obsessed with Cinderella. She pretends to dance around the house, frequently calls me "step-mother", and loves to go around the house dusting.
During a family home evening lesson about commandments and things we should do, we asked if Adelyn if she had any examples. She stated: "don't let trees fall on us". I guess that is important too.
I find it humorous that Adelyn refers to most jobs as a "she" job. "
She needs to mow her lawn", "
She needs to kill the weeds", "
She needs to take out the trash". It will be nice when Scott is around to do some of these jobs.
