First Grade Opera

Adelyn's first grade class has been working on an opera all year. They came up with the story, music, lyrics and costumes themselves. It was adorable! Their story included mermaids having a birthday, sharks trying to ruin the birthday, and super heroes and sea creatures who saved the day. Adelyn was very proud and excited for us to see it.

Welcome Baby Pearce!

Right before labor and delivery. (I felt huge!)

I checked into the hospital at about 12:30 am.  I was having contractions about 5 minutes apart. At the hospital my labor didnt progress very quickly so about 10:30 am I was given pitocin and an epidural. I pushed for about 30 minutes and Pearce was born. The umbilical cord was around his neck twice, and while they tried to untangle it, the umbilical cord ruptured (very unusual). The doctor was able to get everything under control quickly, and we got to hold our healthy baby boy.

Pearce was born on April 6th, 2014 at 1:46pm. Weighing in at 8 pounds 12 ounces and 21 inches long.

Olivia's stats: (4 years old) Height: 42 inches (90%) Weight: 36.4 pounds (62%) Growing up healthy and tall!

Skiing

Adelyn got to go skiing for the first time with dad and grandpa. She got a tummy ache that day, but otherwise had fun and can't wait to do it next winter.

Disney on Ice

For Olivia's birthday she got to go to Disney on Ice with mom. We had a great time and the show was amazing!

Olivia Turns 4!

Olivia turned 4! I can't believe how fast she is growing! For her birthday she wanted to have a zebra party. She loves zebras! We had family over for presents and cupcakes. We love this girl!
