First Snow

Adelyn cant resist going out in the first snow of the season, even if it is 7:30am in her school clothes.

Halloween

This year for Halloween I let the girls pick out what they wanted to be. Adelyn picked a butterfly, and Olivia insisted on being a zebra. I made the butterfly wings, but opted to buy the Zebra costume this year. In preparation for Halloween we went to the pumpkin patch to pick out a few pumpkins (with our friend James), had a Halloween party with friends, and carved pumpkins with Aunt Christine and Uncle Michael. Halloween night was nice weather and the girls got lots of candy.

Joy School

A few friends and I organized a Joy School for our preschoolers this year. The group has six kids and they meet once a week for two hours, rotating houses. This worked really well for Adelyn so we thought we would do it for Olivia. Today was her first day. She loved it and I cant believe she is growing up so fast!

Silly Girls

Adelyn was given some stick on mustaches at school and she decided to share with Olivia. They were being so silly and having a great time. These girls crack me up.

First Grade

Adelyn started first grade this year. She is still attending Legacy Preparatory Academy. We love it and think the uniforms are cute. Her teacher this year is Mrs. Bothwell and she has a few close friends in her class (Bethany and Jane). She has been excited to start all day school and is gone from 7:55 am to 3:05 pm. It has been quite the adjustment for Olivia and myself. Olivia asks me all day long when Adelyn will be home. We sure miss her during the day.

Headstand

Learning to do a headstand was at the top of Adelyn's "to do" list for the summer. Here she is practicing at her back-to-school picnic.

Adelyn Turns 6!

We celebrated Adelyn's 6th birthday with the Moss family, presents, and ice cream. She also got to spend her actual birthday with a few close friends, playing in the yard and eating popsicles. She loved being the center of attention and opening presents. Adelyn already cant wait for her next birthday, and her parents cant believe she is growing up so fast!
