Graduating...
From high chair to booster chair, from crib to big girl bed. Once we came home from Washington over Christmas break, Olivia refused to be a baby any longer. We love having a toddler, but secretly miss the baby :)

Christmas Vacation to Washington
For Christmas we were able to fly up to Washington and spend our Christmas vacation with the Folk family. We had a wonderful time and cant wait to come visit again. Here are some random pictures of our vacation.

Temple Square
For Family Night we headed to temple square to see the lights. We came to temple square back in August and saw workers stringing the trees with lights. We laugh that it takes to long to get all the lights up, but it is beautiful. The kids got cold, but were good sports.

Santa
Santa Claus (and Mrs. Claus) was able to come to our ward Christmas party. Addie loved it, Olivia was not so sure. We love when Santa comes to town!

Silly Sayings
During the Primary program Adelyn was having a hard time sitting still. Her teacher quietly whispered to Adelyn, asking her to sit down. Adelyn looked at her teacher and exclaimed, "I wanted to tell the Bishop that I loved him", then she promptly turned backwards, smiled to the Bishop, and gave a very exaggerated one-eyed wink. We couldn't see this from the back of the room, but she had all the nearby teachers chuckling on stage.
While playing a color-by-number game on the I-pod, Adelyn exclaimed, "It's hard work to learn, but it's my job. My job is hard!"
Adelyn: "I'm allergic to poison"
Adelyn: "I want [my friend] to get here in 'yes' time!"

First Snow of the Season
Adelyn overheard me mention to Scott that it was going to snow later that week. Every morning Adelyn would wake up and immediately run to the window to see if it snowed outside. I explained it was going to snow on Saturday. On Friday I woke up to Adelyn running from her room yelling, "it's Saturday, there is supposed to be snow!" Not yet kiddo... but luckily it did actually snow on Saturday, and we headed up to the in-laws to play.

Sweet Dreams
Adelyn loves to read until she falls asleep. We think it's pretty funny when she falls asleep like this:
The funniest part though, is in the morning Scott showed her this picture and Adelyn exclaimed, "Hey! Where's my book? I was going to finish that in the morning!"
Seriously cracks me up.
